Growing up so fast!
The past few weeks, Emma Kate has been scooting around on her hands and knees backwards and getting into a sitting position so we knew it wouldn't be long before she started crawling! Wednesday, in between my classes, she was sitting on the floor playing with her toys and all of a sudden just took off after one that was out of her reach! I was so excited! I can't believe she is crawling. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital! I guess it is time to babyproof the house now! I got this video of her crawling to get my camera case. It is super short but you can tell she is already moving pretty fast after only three full days and is getting into everything! She has already started pulling dvds off of the console in the living room. She is so much fun and loves to laugh at us being silly! We are so blessed to have such a happy, social baby that loves people. She will usually let anyone and everyone hold her and she smiles at everyone that talks to her in the grocery store or anywhere else we go! She is such a blessing to us and we can't imagine life without her!

Birthday fun!
This weekend, for an early birthday celebration, we went to Doodle and D's house to spend some time with the family! We went and ate at Lady at the Levee and the food was wonderful! It was so great to spend time with everyone and just relax since school is so busy right now! Drew is starting a new job in a week and we are so excited! Emma Kate and I are going to miss those extra few hours a day we get to see him though! She is starting to learn how to crawl. She can scoot backwards on all fours and can barely inch forward every now and then so it won't be too much longer before she is getting into everything! I recently switched her baby food to another brand that is organic and she is liking it so much better than Gerber! Her legs are starting to get a lot of baby fat on them now! Too cute. I have been busy applying to grad schools and have started clinic with my first patient so it has been a very busy couple of weeks for us!
